Friday Finds: Lunch Box Printables, Jazzed Up Pretzels, Bean Dip, the Power of Character Stickers, Running Haikus

Happy Friday! We’re enjoying a 50 degree day here in Wisconsin, not a snow flake to be seen!

Here are some of my favorite finds from the week:

  • Making Memories: One Fun Thing After Another has a collection of cute printables to include in children’s lunch boxes. Our children aren’t old enough yet to enjoy a mama made lunch for school, but I like these printables and hope I remember they exist when our children are older. My mom used to write sweet notes in my lunches and I still remember her doing that, so this seems like a good way to carry on that tradition.
  • This is an interesting post from Feed Our Families. Want to get a child to eat more healthily? Apparently adding a character sticker to the packaging helps! Lots to ponder about that for sure.

Have a great weekend.

Oh and regarding my weather update up top — yea, right — Happy April Fools! In fact, we’re experiencing a wintry mix that includes some snow. Days like today make me think Spring will never arrive.

My pleasure! Thanks again for those printables. They are fantastic. I’m still learning about blogging self promotion 🙂 And blogging in general — there is so much to learn for sure!

  2. Love the running haikus! I homeschool my kids and just did a unit on haikus with my son, he’ll love these! Thanks for featuring my pretezels, they were great! sweet and salty is awesome! I’m in MN and it’s nice to finally have some decent weather!
